Social Media - Feeling GOOD Feeling BAD

Social Media was made to connect people. It was made to bring people close. It was made to share beautiful moments of one's life with the world. 

But do you really think that this is what the creators of social media thought when they planted this industry? Who do you think carry on these Social Media websites... Software Engineers, Coders, Computer Engineers, IT people... Absolutely not. These people just work for them who are the actual mastermind behind these SOCIAL MEDIA sites.
Actual people are those who are playing with our Minds. 
The Psychology Department. 
The top brains of this industry already understood how to play with our minds and so they are flourishing.

Just think, Why don't we have our own INDIAN Social Media websites...its because the lines in which we are thinking to make a platform is not psychological one...all we are thinking is to connect people.

OK, how do you feel when you visit your INSTA or FaceBook feeds. You feel good seeing others going for vacations, winning medals, finding love, enjoying music, having a good time in their life...

Do you actually feel good... Ask again it to yourself.

Why do you think, that a chatting platform like Whatsapp needs to bring in TIMELINE as their new feature in updates?

All are just playing with the temptation we have in our minds.

When we visit a social media platform and see others having a fun time, we are like "OH NO EVERY TIME I HAVE TO WORK HARD AND OTHERS ARE HAVING GOOD TIME",
Why is this happening to me, What have I done wrong in my life and so on and that creates a subconscious pressure in our minds, and then we start ruining our small world with bringing all sort of negativities in to our life?

We always fail to understand that it's not the same person who is posting every day with the good time pics...Suppose you have 7 friends, so if FRIEND 1 had his off on Monday, he will rest on Monday and may enjoy and post a pic having good time, FRIEND 2 had some good moment he will post on Tuesday, then if FRIEND 3 has a happy moment then he will post on Wednesday and so on for Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday...Now we start thinking that everyone is having good time every day of the week but I have it only on the SUNDAY(and that too everyone is having fun on Sunday)....and with the amount of social media friends you have, you could get numerous updates throughout the day and night(I have used the word amount and not numbers because you just add people without knowing them or having any inclination).

Ok leave others, just tell me this, why do put up a post on Instagram or Facebook...just be honest...You went on a vacation to feel good, to relax, to rejoice, to refresh yourself, to feel the beauty of the nature, to see the great monuments and the amazing artefacts created by the people around the world...
Then what is the need to put up your pics in the social medial websites(and that too by applying numerous filters on it)...The camera was invented to click pics and keep them to yourself for your memories and rejoice the feeling, you had at that place...not to share that pic with the entire town. But now we do so...so what is that feeling in your mind when you post that pic...Do share it with me in the comment section.

That is the exact feeling when anyone posts around in this world...People are just competing for this.

And this thing is ever increasing with the new applications coming around with the likes of
TIC-TOK, LIKEE ... and what not... these apps are making two big dents in our country:
1. Youngsters instead of focussing on their education are more inclined towards these...
Just trying to be as SWAGGY as possible...Shooting, SloMos, Vulgar Dialogues and useless trends and the violence they are creating onscreen, encourage others to do it offline too( just check out the mob lynching going on these days and that too just because just someone spread a fake news...I AM NOT SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT "WHATSAPP UNIVERSITY". (Pun Intended). Most of them lack the basic knowledge about the country they are living in..."They very well know about the screencast of any latest movie, songs, useless word by word lyrics and not to forget the RAFTAAR and EMIWAY BANTAI...rap battle....but if asked why is this Inflation today and why is the economy of India suffering a slowdown...They do not have any answer to it...

2. Why do you think that these websites are here to give you great services for free...

ALWAYS REMEMBER

 "NO LUNCH IS SERVED FREE"

They have to maintain servers, they have to pay a salary, they have to pay rent, they have to pay electricity bills and the endless expenses...They are not burning their money so that you could enjoy. They are directly using your data, and with data I do not mean your mobile data( I know the theory that floated in our mind during the starting days of internet that, you buy a data pack and pay Airtel and the number of websites you visit, Airtel will further give them their shares), I hope you are well informed now, so I am talking about your personal information which you have authorised them to sell to others...No I have not...

YES, you have authorised them to use your data by signing that "TERMS AND CONDITION" without looking even what's written there. Now they trade your data with the companies around the world and then they track you continuously and look at your behaviour patterns and use your information accordingly...This personal information you share with them and YOU give them permission to share with others.


How do you think an AMAZON add pops up in any free app you are using and that too displaying the same thing you searched on amazon last night....
Oh, that's a coincidence, no not at all, that is BEHAVIORAL PATTERN TRACKING ANALYSIS SYSTEM and it is not a coincidence. You don't believe me just go to Amazon, look for what you want to buy, suppose an iPhone and then compare specs and all, check colours and if possible add it your cart and leave and anytime next if you are watching Youtube or checking cricket scores on Cricbuzz, an Amazon add will pop up showing the iPhone and this will keep tracing you in whichever place you have used that "id" to create the account and even if you have not used id they trace you IP address...


Every data of yours is out in the world and you are being segregated on your behavioural patterns.
And this is how consumer companies track you down, sorry hunt you down, and this is how Artificial Intelligence works...With every like, every comment, every click, you are being tracked and segregated on the basis of what you eat, what you order, where you go, whom you meet, where you live, where you spend and what not and put into different slots and you are being sold.

They all used public data of people, segregated them on their behavioural pattern, influenced them to vote to whom they wanted, by showing the feeds they wanted you to see and create a subconscious pressure in your minds.

There is a big market out there now for this DATA...and in the coming future anyone having data can take you for granted.

So next time you use internet or the social media websites, do think what you are actually doing and what are you looking for, are you looking for your satisfaction, or are you just posting to show off, that yes I had a blast and make other people feel bad,(don't think I am a pessimist, I am just trying to portray you the reality),coz the next time when some else will post you may feel bad too...and then that cycle will go on... MONDAY...TUESDAY... WED...
