How To Score Better In Exams.

Should I tell you or tell you not, it’s very easy to score good marks in the semester exams and by the time you finish reading this article you will be able to score extra 5% marks in the exams without studying any extra bit. As a college student you would have always pondered at some point of time, that you and your buddy study the same material, for same period of time but he scores more than you in the examinations. Some people will say, that, he is more talented or others will comment that his mind is more receptive and what not. But that’s not the secret behind his marks.
Ok let’s take an example, suppose you are given an option to eat from two plates, with the same content, one well garnished with all the eatables properly served in their respective bowls and in the other all the eatable just kept in an odd manner to finish. Now tell me which plate you would pick up, Of course the one with better presentation.
Boom, now here is the word which makes all the difference, PRESENTATION.
Yes, it’s the presentation which makes all the difference and now I will tell you a few very simple tricks to improve your presentation and score very very easily in the examination.

1.MARGINS:
As soon as you get your answer sheet without any further ado just start sketching margins on both the sides of the page [pic]. What this will do, is that, it will bring the content you will be writing in focus, even if the sides are tampered or folded.

2.HIGHEST MARKS FIRST:
Once the margins are completed and you get the question paper. Always go for the questions which carry highest marks. Why? It’s because these are lengthy questions and will require more detailed explanation and thus may take more time, also as these questions carry good marks, you will be awarded well too.
3.FOLLLOW THE SEQUENCE:
You must always follow the sequence, either if you start from section B or section C. This will let the examiner be in his comfort zone, as he will find it easy to check and will award good marks.

4.HOW TO START:
Always write the section Name and Answer number at the centre of the page with black sketch and then start. This will clearly state the question you are going to attempt, again making the things easier for the examiner and thus taking extra marks out of his comfort zone.

5.FRESH PAGE FOR NEW ANSWERS:
Always try to end your answer at the end of any page but even if some space is left then leave that page and start your answer from the fresh page. As this will let the examiner know that this answer is complete and the next answer begins from the new page, again getting into the examiner comfort zone.

6.WRITE POINTS AT THE BACK OR AT THE LAST PAGE:
Once the margins are drawn and you have written the answer no. at the centre of the page, read the question carefully and then write the main points of the answer at the last page of the answer sheet and once judging the sequence as to how you are going to write the answer, you could start writing the answer point wise, again making it easier for the examiner to know the crux of the answer.

7.ART
Writing answers is an art both in the metamorphic and the literal sense. It’s all the black-blue ink game. The ratio of both the inks on the paper should be 50:50. The headings, main/key words all must be in black ink. The words which you want the examiner to read in the entire length must be covered with black ink and the rest must come in blue, again in the advantage of examiner directly and yours indirectly.
8.FIGURES AND SCALES
If you want to have an edge above others, then always keep a fig. or diagram or flow chart, for each and every answer handy. This will give an idea of your inner perception of the question asked (either you have it or not) and lays down a better impression on the examiner.
9.UNDERLINING AND HIGHLIGHTING
You always have to do something extra to show that you know the answer and as every answer has only a few keywords, always try to bring them in focus either either by underlining or highlighting them. In this way the examiner never cares about everything you have written in the exam but goes only with the keywords and makes his mind that you know the answer and will award you marks.
10.ATTEMPT ALL THE QUESTIONS:
It’s not that you always have time to attempt all the questions or you know the answer to all the questions but then also you have to attempt all the questions. Leaving a question unanswered will fetch you an absolute “zero”, but just writing the answer no. and explaining the “questions” itself may fetch you 2 or 3 marks which I suppose is much more than zero in a tough competition between you and your classmates.

FEW EXTRA TIPS

TIME YOUR WATCH AND WATCH YOUR TIME:
  Always carry a watch and divide the time for question according to marks, always keeping 15 minutes handy. Suppose you have 12 questions divide time for 13 questions so that you always have some extra time in reserve for a lengthy answer in case one pops in.

COUNTING PAGES:
Always keep counting the pages of your answer booklet. Make an estimate in how many pages you have to write the answer, for ex- for lengthy question 4 pages, for short answers 2 pages, so that you could never run out of space in writing answers.

So guys go ahead, follow these simple tricks in the upcoming exams and get ready to see a wonderful scorecard.

The Pitcher Theory

This is a new theory of life relating to real life craftificial objects...According to this, every person in life is born with 3 virtually realistic pitchers. The Pitcher Of Hard Work.  The Pitcher Of Leisure The Pitcher Of Destiny. AND the INTERESTING thing is this that you will not Die until your first two pitchers are filled altogether or the third is filled solely.  ...So its you who have to decide which pitcher to fill first.  For one or other point of time you have to fill the first two pots with your deeds. But the game of destiny depends upon our thinking and thus the third pot is filled by the way we perceive this world. There is no person in this world who had died before the filling of these pots. Nature has balanced the world in such a way that everyone will be benefited with its vivid presence. So any person who works hard today will enjoy tomorrow and the one who enjoys today will have to work tomorrow. There is no specific hard and fast rule a

How Things cHaNgE In Life

It`s before you could sense what is happening within, the world around has changed for you.....and nothing better has happened with me in the last one year. It`s just with the blink of eye the world is good to you and with the wink of eye everything turns to be an evil....and what is more hurting is that they are no other than your very close ones who give you deepest feeling of avenge which even your enemies can`t even manage to do so. Life is a stage ....keep performing ....keep getting....try to have some rest.....get ready to screwed afterwards....these are not my rules, these are the rules made by nature to fit into the virtue of man....to keep the survival of the fittest... in my case survival of the one who has learnt to bear all sort of critics.....                                                       Not very long back just a year ago(2011) I was a "ROCK STAR" literally, just everything was mine or on a better side....just because I was performing, I had

Social Media - Feeling GOOD Feeling BAD

Social Media was made to connect people. It was made to bring people close. It was made to share beautiful moments of one's life with the world.  But do you really think that this is what the creators of social media thought when they planted this industry? Who do you think carry on these Social Media websites... Software Engineers, Coders, Computer Engineers, IT people... Absolutely not. These people just work for them who are the actual mastermind behind these SOCIAL MEDIA sites. Actual people are those who are playing with our Minds.  The Psychology Department.  The top brains of this industry already understood how to play with our minds and so they are flourishing. Just think, Why don't we have our own INDIAN Social Media websites...its because the lines in which we are thinking to make a platform is not psychological one...all we are thinking is to connect people. OK, how do you feel when you visit your INSTA or FaceBook feeds. You feel good seeing others go
